Welcome to 2nd Goffs Oak (Methodist) Scout Group.  We have a long history in our village and are proud to continue the legacy set by our predecessors with Scouting for the 21st Century.

We are a small group but we are priviledged to have our own Headquarters and are based behind the library in Valley View, Goffs Oak (off of Goffs Lane, Goffs Oak). We lay midway between Cheshunt and Cuffley.

All of our inclusive units openly accepts boys and girls across our three sections:

• A Beaver colony for children aged 6 to 8 years old
• A Cub pack for children aged 8 to 10 and a half years old
• A Scout troop for children aged 10 and half to 14 years old

We aim to guide young people in the principles of good citizenship, independence and resilience through a structured programme involving a balance of indoor and outdoor activities, fun and games.

All of our adult leaders are volunteers and devoted to offering the best possible Scouting experience possible.  We are delighted to welcome new helpers, whether or not in uniform, helping in the sections, fund raising or supporting the Group’s Trustee's (like a school's Governing Body).
