Scouts

!What don’t Scouts do? At this age, we encourage children to take responsibility for themselves and each other, with older members often leading a small team. They like being with friends and participating fully in the adventure of life. In Scouts we like:

  • Developing leadership skills
  • Learning emergency aid
  • Spending nights away at camp or sleepovers
  • Helping others in the community
  • Cooking at meetings and at camp
  • Adventurous and sporting activities – anything from abseiling to zorbing
  • Learning survival skills
  • Being curious about the world around us and further afield

We meet in school term time on Friday evenings between 7.30 pm and 9.00 pm. We meet around Ed's shifts and so cannot meet every week but aim for as often as possible.
